Hand Made Quality Shit
What can I say, it's been a hell of a 5 months since the black friday sale. Why is that you ask? Well, thats because I've been working basically non stop to build the dream...a new completely in-house production facility for the brand! It actually started a few months prior, but after the sale is when things really kicked in. Let me elaborate.
Ever since I started Thirty Eight Ride Company, I've always wanted to produce my own stuff. Let's be honest, most print shops, embroidery shops, suppliers and everyone else in the supply chain won't care about your brand anywhere near as much a you do. This is something I realized very quickly after getting into the business and dealt with a lot of headaches because of it. After enough of those headaches, I knew the only way was to do it myself.
Now I could have gotten some entry level equipment and done it at any given time, but I simply don't want to make entry level gear. If I'm going to do something, I'm doing it right. So I busted my ass non stop for a year to start building up the funds and the knowledge base I needed to make this happen, and then spent 4 months of day in/day out back breaking work to build this place completely by myself. After I had the space and the tools, it was time to learn how to produce the quality that I've been searching for. Another 3 months later, here we are ready to unleash this new potential into the brand.
I can't even begin to express how happy I am to take this new leap and I can't wait to see all of the cool new things we're going to make from here on out. This is going to be a game changer and it means that you guys can expect an entirely new level of quality, more frequent releases, speedier restocks and better customer service than we already had.
Thank you guys so much for your support through all of this, without you this would not have been possible and I'm ready to repay the favour by killing it this year for you!
